We have identified a safety issue with the Silentnight Smart Wi-Fi Plug.
In certain circumstances, the plug may present a Fire hazard / Electrocution hazard.
What you must do now
Please act immediately:
- STOP USING THE SMART PLUG – unplug it from the mains socket right away.
- DO NOT use it again and DO NOT give it to anyone else.
- THROW THE PLUG AWAY (dispose of it safely – see “Disposal” below).

Disposal (throw it away)
- Do not attempt to repair the Smart Plug.
- Dispose of it in line with local guidance for electrical items (WEEE). If your area offers electrical recycling, please use it.
